First dive of 2000 on the "Under Pressure" with Caption Randy Whitneck.

Randy runs a nice boat, it's clean and in good shape.  It's a 31 ft. custom dive boat and easy to dive. Contact him at divepompano@msn.com or call 954-943 boat.

It was Sunday Jan 2, 2000 and the weather was better on Friday and Saturday, but it was not to bad. It was not to cold and the wind was light. The seas stayed down, 2 to 3 feet, so it was not too bad. The water temp was about 78 degrees and the vis was about 50 ft.  At one point we could see the bottom from the boat.

There were some lobster on the reef but not as many as on Friday. Bill one of the other divers on the trip got this bucket, I think he and his buddy got about eight. John and I got four, we should have done better but we got some shorts and a couple with eggs we had to let go. Here is Bill and his buddy getting back on the boat wit some lobster.

Here is a picture looking in to the bow, I hoped this would show the space this boat has for you and you gear.

And here John and I wait for the second dive. That would be Pompano Beach in the back round.

We have been out with randy before and will go out with him again, he runs a good clean boat.
