My Ford Truck setup!
Adding a deck to the pickup bed to put stuff under, like shooting cart and
rifles.
There is a shelf that is on the bed walls right behind the sliding rear window.
If there is someone in the rear seat they can use the shelf to put odds and ends
on while driving to matches. Three stringers support the deck. They could be
taller, to have the deck at bed wall height. The deck is two pieces, that makes
it easy to get out. The whole deck comes out with six screws.
1/4 inch plywood was cut to size and added to the tailgate. When you have to
kneel on the tailgate, having the plywood and carpet over the ribs of the bed
liner makes it a lot easier on the knees..
 Indoor
outdoor carpet was added to help the stop sliding.I have been thinking of adding
a drawer under the deck that could be locked. But then it might not come out in
ten minutes.
A piece of molding was added to the tail gate so that when people sit on the
tail gate for a ride to the pits, the carpet doesn't get rooled up on the
outside edge.
