Duane Trip June 1998Diving with Captain Jim Beights and the Lady Lureign
On the way out to the dive site, today's dive is supposed to be the "Bibb and the Duane", twin Coast Guard Cutters that were sunk off Key Largo, Fla. But the mooring buoy is off the Bibb so we opt for the Dwane and a drift dive on the reef. Two of our group want to take a look in the Dwane and plan a deco dive, while the rest of our group do a no deco dive to the deck and superstructure. Here comes one of our divers after decompressing on the mooring line. As you can see it was a great day for it. The sea's were flat and there was no current on the wreck and visibility was about 65 feet. Think this guy has enough gear? At least it was flat and he could get up the ladder without a whole lot of help!!
Humm!!! Did I take the sink down with me??? I thought it was right here some where!!! Here's the guys on the way back in. Do they look happy or what???? John Brian Dom Brian
