June 2, 2001Diving off Pompano beach with Conrad on the " Miss Conduct " and let me tell you what a great dive boat it is. I am sorry, I did not get a picture of the whole boat but you'll get the idea. It's not a big boat but that means no cattle.
You can call Capt. Conrad Nix at 954-698-6139 and check out his web site at www.missconductcharters.com or email him at Capt. Conrad Nix . Talk about easy going boats, this is one. It was easy to get on and off as well. You could suit up and roll off the side or go to the stern and do a giant stride off the swim platform. The dive latter was set just right, in the center of the swim platform with a hand hold on both sides.
Here is Conrad taking a reservation with his hi tech day timer. The best part of this is that he can't say his computer is down and that he can't check to see if he has any spots left for mini season. The Conrad asked where we would like to go and who wanted to do what kind of dive before deciding where to take us. John and I were hoping to see some larger fish and some one else wanted to do a reef dive, so he tried to set us up with a reef with a deeper back side. A storm came up as they will do this time of year so we had a longer surface interval then we need but we had to wait for the squall to blow by. As you can see it was pretty flat after the storm went by. I would have to say that is one of Pompano great dive boats and if you want to stay away from the herd you will not fine any cattle on this boat. But you will find a great dive boat and a great captian. |
