Wow,, what a trip,  it was great. We went with Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures, Inc. There were a few minor problems, mostly normal mechanical, some crew related. But nothing that caused the trip not to be great. Any pictures you see of fish and lobster, were taken when I was up and had the camera, all fish and lobster were taken free diving and not on scuba.

All the underwater pictures were taken with my new Olympus C2040- Z digital camera in a PT-007 Olympus housing. These were taken without a strobe light and just a standard lens. The better shots or on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after I got used to the camera.

We left West Palm on Sat afternoon, it was hot but the boat has air conditioning so we cooled off as we left port. We s picked our cabins and towed our gear.

The boat has two full heads that were very nice and did not get clogged all week. The shower heads were a little low, I had to get on my knees to was the soap out of my hair.

Later Paul the cook made chicken stir fry and we had our first of many great meals.

This is the galley where Paul ( below ) fixed up some good grub. It was open the whole trip if you wanted something you could help your self. There were all kinds of snacks and candy on the counter if you wanted them. And the phone number for weight watchers!!!!!!!

This is a picture of Paul with a 25 lb yellow fin grouper he got, and later fixed for dinner.   Paul dived as well as he cooked, he put out some great food.

The salon was very roomy with two tables to eat on and a special table just for cameras.

We went into Bimini Sunday morning to clear customs, then started to dive our way down to Cay Sal. The first dive was at " Tuna Alley ". We came up behind a " Black Beard " sail charter and did a mooring dive, into the current and came up on a group of say twenty college divers. You'll find links on the left for each day, each day may have links to other dives of that day.
