Do I Need Certification Before My First Dive
Those that wish to become involved with scuba diving realize that they need a certification. The process of being certified is not something that is designed flippantly. You need to become certified for a very good reason: you have to maintain your safety in what open water.
So, do you need to be certified for your first dive? You will need to be certified to take part in a dive that is outside of a beginner open water diving course or a discover scuba course. If you wish to rent equipment and purchase a dive ticket on your own, you must present proof of certification. Therefore, the answer is your first non-class oriented dive will require a certification.
In terms of the very first dive you take, the answer is no because you will need to complete several dives on the beach and from a boat to receive an open water beginner diving certificate. How could you not? You can’t learn to dive unless you actually dive!
In an educational format, you will be diving with a certified instructor and a dive master. Your open water dives will come shortly after extensive classroom learning and pool dives. This enhances the safety when you do eventually go into open water.Still bored? Click to continue: How To Get Your Scuba Diving License
